Many Vietnam motorbike tours were cancelled or suspended between 2020 and 2022. The good news is that Vietnam officially reopened its international borders on March 15th, 2022, allowing international travelers to return and enjoy motorbike adventures in Vietnam.

There are occasional tours that our customers have already booked and would like additional riders to join. However, most of our Vietnam motorcycle tours are private, usually arranged for couples, families, or groups of friends. If you prefer to travel independently, you can also hire a bike and start your own Vietnam motorbike adventure. We provide motorcycles, riding gear, practical tips, route advice, support, and assistance to help make your trip easier and safer.

What We Do

This website focuses mainly on challenging motorbike tours through Vietnam designed for experienced riders. However, riders with less experience can also join shorter and easier trips where appropriate. We are happy to tailor-make a motorcycle tour around your riding ability, available time, interests, and expectations. Our goal is to create an adventure that is enjoyable while still matching your confidence and experience on a motorcycle.

Vietnam Motorbike Motorcycle Tours is part of the larger Offroad Vietnam Adventure Travel, a company offering outdoor adventures throughout Vietnam, including motorbiking, cycling, 4×4 adventures, and small-group cruises. Unlike many travel companies in Vietnam, we do not specialize in conventional large-group tours by bus following the busiest tourist routes. Our focus is on more personal, active, and adventurous ways to experience Vietnam.

Why Honda Motorbikes?

All motorcycles provided by us are genuine Japanese Honda bikes. We do not use Chinese copies or other motorcycle brands in our fleet. As a note, Honda does not sponsor or endorse our business.

Founded in late 2006 by two local motorcycle riders, our company was created after we recognized growing demand from riders around the world who wanted a more exciting and authentic way to explore Vietnam on two wheels. At that time, the Russian Minsk 2-stroke 125cc was practically the only choice for this type of motorcycle adventure. However, the Minsk was underpowered, unreliable, and consumed around 5–6 liters of fuel per 100 km. We felt that the era of this famous “iron buffalo” had come to an end and that riders deserved a better motorcycle.

Fortunately, 4-stroke Honda road and dirt bikes from 150cc to 250cc became available, giving us a much better option for long-distance touring and off-road riding. We have owned and ridden Honda motorcycles for many years and believe they are an excellent choice for motorbike tours in Vietnam. Honda bikes are reliable, spare parts are widely available, and repairs are generally easy to arrange throughout the country. There is even a simple way to understand Honda’s importance here: “Honda” practically means “motorbike” in Vietnamese!

Vietnam is truly a motorbike nation, and we believe there is no better way to experience the country than by motorcycle. A successful and safe adventure requires an experienced and professional team, and that is exactly what we aim to provide. Our tour guides and staff are all regular and experienced motorbike riders, familiar with Vietnam’s roads, traffic, mountain terrain, weather, and local conditions. The Ha Giang and Northeast Vietnam motorbike tour is undoubtedly one of the best motorcycle routes in the country. You will ride through several provinces and across constantly changing landscapes, from winding mountain roads and high passes to valleys, villages, and remote rural areas. Along the way, you will meet amazingly friendly local people and experience a side of Vietnam that is difficult to discover on a conventional tour. Mai Chau & Pu Luong
