PAYMENT DETAILS

There are several ways to send payment for your Vietnam motorbike tour or motorcycle rental. We provide the payment options and instructions below for our customers. In general, we recommend Option 1: Online Payment by Card for most bookings.

1. Online Payment Gateway by Card

We will prepare a secure payment link specifically for your booking.

All you need to do is follow the payment link we send you, click “Checkout”, and enter the requested information. You can pay using a credit card or online banking if you have a Vietnamese bank account.

If you have a Vietnamese bank account, online banking is usually cheaper, as you can transfer VND directly to our Vietnamese bank account. Please see Option 3: Bank Transfer below.

Once we receive your payment, we will send you a confirmation email with the important details you need to prepare for your Vietnam motorbike adventure.

This payment method is generally convenient and reasonably inexpensive for small deposits. However, for larger payments of around US$ 1,000 or more, card processing fees can become relatively expensive. In that case, you may wish to consider one of the two alternative payment methods below.

2. Western Union Cash Payment Details

If you prefer to use Western Union, we can provide the information required to send your payment.

You probably do not need to provide every detail listed below. Simply enter the information requested by Western Union, especially the details shown in bold.

Providing unnecessary information or making a spelling mistake can result in a longer money transfer message and may sometimes incur additional costs. One of the most common spelling mistakes is my given name. Please enter The Anh, not The Ahn.

Once the transfer has been completed, you will receive a 10-digit MTCN (Money Transfer Control Number).

Please send us the MTCN, the sender’s full name, the exact amount sent, and the location of the transaction. Alternatively, you can simply scan and send us a copy of the receipt.

We use this information to collect the funds from a local Western Union agent. An identification document is required to collect the money, so only Vu The Anh (known as Anh Wu), the owner of Offroad Vietnam, can collect the payment.

3. Bank Transfer

You can also make a bank transfer directly to our Vietnamese bank account.

If using your local currency can help you save on transfer or currency-exchange fees, you may do so. Otherwise, please send the payment in USD, which we generally prefer.

Note About Payment Details

Before making a bank transfer to Vietnam, please ask your bank how much it charges for currency conversion and international transfer fees. You should also check whether your payment needs to pass through an intermediary or third-party bank before reaching Vietcombank.

From our experience, many international transfers pass through a bank in the United States, such as the Bank of New York or Bank of America, before reaching Vietcombank. Additional intermediary bank charges may therefore apply.

Please only send payments in USD, EUR, AUD, GBP, CAD, or VND. Some customers have unfortunately been charged additional fees by intermediary banks without being notified in advance.
