About Vietnam Motorbike Motorcycle Tours
Vietnam Motorbike Motorcycle Tours is part of the larger Offroad Vietnam Adventure Travel, a company offering premier outdoor adventures throughout Vietnam, including motorbike tours, cycling, 4×4 adventures, and small-group cruises. Unlike many travel companies in Vietnam, we do not offer traditional large-group tours by bus. This website focuses specifically on Vietnam motorcycle tours, motorbike tours, and motorbike or scooter rentals in Hanoi and Northern Vietnam. All our motorcycles are genuine Japanese Honda bikes – no Chinese copies or other brands. Please note that Honda does not sponsor or endorse our business.
Founded in late 2006 by two local motorcycle riders, our company was created in response to growing demand from riders around the world who wanted a more authentic and adventurous way to explore Vietnam by motorbike. When we started, the Russian Minsk 2-stroke 125cc was practically the only choice available for this type of adventure. In fact, the Minsk was weak, unreliable, and consumed around 5-6 liters of fuel per 100 km. Honestly, the era of this famous “iron buffalo” had passed, and we knew there had to be a better option.
We eventually switched to 4-stroke Honda road and dirt bikes, ranging from 160cc to 250cc. We have owned and ridden Honda motorcycles for many years and believe they are one of the best choices for motorbike touring in Vietnam. Honda motorcycles are reliable, spare parts are widely available, and repairs can be carried out almost anywhere in the country. There is even a saying that tells you how important the brand is here: “Honda” practically means “motorbike” in Vietnamese!
Vietnam is truly a motorbike nation, and we believe there is no better way to experience the country than from the seat of a motorcycle. From remote mountain roads and winding passes to quiet rural backroads and small ethnic minority villages, motorbike travel in Vietnam allows you to experience places that are difficult to reach on a conventional tour.
